You know two words that sound terrible together? “Long haul.” You didn’t get back from a “long haul” ride—you’re back from a magical, epic ride, and you absolutely crushed it. The Ruby gets it. Built to perform on rides you love, the Ruby’s lightweight frame and Women’s Endurance Geometry delivers a stable, responsive ride. And with fatigue-busting features like Zertz, you’ll turn rough roads to smooth on a ride that’s anything but a “long haul.”

DESCRIPTION

TAKEN FROM SPECIALIZED.COM | SPECIALIZED Ruby SL4 Comp Ultegra Di2 description

The Ruby SL4 Comp UDi2 is what you might call an “upgrade,” as this endurance-bred bike is head and shoulders above its competition. After all, we designed it to be more than just a step-up from an entry-level road bike. Instead, it’s a race-ready machine that’s tailored to women who want to take long rides in less than ideal conditions. And to make sure of it, its FACT 9r carbon fiber frame has been outfitted with Shimano’s 11-speed Ultegra Di2, an ultra-stiff Praxis crankset, and smooth-rolling Axis Elite wheels. Of course, you’ll also benefit from our proprietary technology that’s been tested and proven on the cobbles of Northern France, like our vibration absorbing Zertz inserts throughout the frame and fork and a compact race design that’s specifically designed for women. So go ahead and push it to the limits—the Ruby will have you smiling the whole way.

  • Enjoy a comfortable and responsive ride with the lightweight Specialized FACT 9r carbon frame. Featuring Zertz to help reduce road chatter, it provides a responsive yet smooth ride with no compromise on performance.
  • The agile and responsive Specialized FACT carbon, full-monocoque fork features Zertz inserts to absorb road roughness and give you a smoother ride.
  • Shimano Ultegra Di2 shifting offers 11 speeds of electronic wonderment. Shifts are as precise as it gets, dropping chains becomes a rarity, and the trim adjust up front ensures that chain rub is a thing of the past—no matter how extreme your cross-chaining gets.
