The 701 Series: A Cycling Challenge Like No Other

The 701 Series offers cyclists of all levels the chance to challenge themselves with five distinct races throughout 2025. Finish all five events, and you’ll earn a special "Rad vest" —plus, each race you complete earns you a unique patch. When you’ve conquered all five, your patches will form the shape of North Dakota, a true mark of your achievement.

Fat & Flurious Fat Bike Race

  Kick off the season with a fun and festive fat bike race. Choose from the 10-mile Fat & Flurious or the more challenging 20-mile Too Fat, Too Flurious. Bring the family for a weekend retreat at the park with cabins and yurts available for rent.

Capitol City Crit

  The only road race in Bismarck/Mandan, the Capitol City Crit is your chance to experience the high-speed excitement of a criterium race. Bring your friends and family to the Capitol lawn for an unforgettable day of racing and spectator fun!

Otter Creek MTB Race & Trail Run

• Event Date: June 13-14, 2025
• Location: Harmon Lake
  Race at Harmon Lake and enjoy mountain biking, trail running, and youth categories. With $4,200 in cash prizes, this event is perfect for athletes looking for some serious competition.

Lyons-Heart Gravel Classic presented by Ubl Design Group

  This challenging gravel race takes you through North Dakota’s stunning landscapes. The century race is perfect for experienced riders, with an exciting $7,000 prize purse up for grabs.
