Where have all the bikes gone?
Where have all the bikes gone?
If you have stopped in the shop lately, you may have noticed that in some models our selection is not as robust as it usually is. While we are all getting tired of hearing COVID this and Coronavirus that … a silver lining that has come from social distancing and being cooped up at home, is more people are out getting fresh air, spending time together (Quaranteam), and sharing our love of bikes! For a long stretch there, nearly every activity was cancelled and/or closed - but biking was never cancelled.
We have seen so many new faces in the shop these days and we are excited to welcome them into the cycling community, from the kiddos along for the ride in the trailer, the little rippers, moms, dads, commuters, and those of you getting back out on your bike for the first time since you were a kid. We love to see you out there and are happy to help with service on your bike or to answer any questions that may come up. Our service department has been very busy with repairs as people are dusting off their old bikes from the back of the garage. We are working hard to get bikes repaired and back to you as quickly as possible and we appreciate your patience.
Bikes are getting hard to come by. We have had customers in the shop from all over the state and even neighboring states to find exactly what they are looking for. We are doing what we can to keep up with demand. This surge in cycling popularity is a nationwide boom and we are doing what we can to acquire inventory to keep you out riding. As soon as new inventory arrives, you will be the first to know! We keep our website updated daily with our current bike inventory. If heading out to the shop amidst COVID still gives you the heebie-jeebies, check it out at Shop.701CycleandSport.com.
We thank you for your continued support. Stay healthy friends! Happy Pedaling!
